About
Hi, I'm Megan!
I am a registered dietitian passionate about helping others establish a healthy and delightful relationship with food and their bodies. I enjoy equipping others with the knowledge and skills to manage their own conditions and revel in their health journey.
My approach to health is integrative - looking not only at diet, but movement, mental health and social well-being. I do NOT believe in attaining health through restrictive diets, but rather through discovering a balance that makes your body and mind feel good and supports overall health. When working with me, I will help you create comfortable habits that feel rewarding and sustainable, rather than fostering unpleasant food-rules that do
not fit your lifestyle or preferences.
Having struggled with eating disorders and a poor relationship with my body as a young teenager, I strive to create an environment that neglects diet-culture and oozes freedom, self-compassion and self-care.

I also have a passion for sports nutrition and love working with clients to achieve optimal sports performance, while maintaining a positive and balanced approach. If you are looking to enhance performance, recovery and overall health, I'm here to help :)

I studied with Stellenbosch University and completed my BSc in Human Biology with Psychology in 2019,

And my BSc in Dietetics in 2022.

I am currently completing my Higher Certificate in Personal Training with Trifocus Fitness Academy.

HOBBIES:
In my free time you might find me at home huddled up with a romance novel or experimenting with cooking (and eating!). I also love spending time outdoors going for walks with my two fur babies and beloved fiance. My ideal Saturday night is spent at home with friends, family, delicious food and wholesome conversation (throw in a board
game and it could not get better!). I love to move my body. My favourite forms of movement are pilates, weightlifting, and dancing. And there is something about a group aerobics class that really puts a smile on my face.
